My creative practice is deeply rooted in our Earth's natural creatures and the dialog between fine contemporary painting and the tactile traditions of physical handcrafting. I treat my substrates not as a flat window, but as a physical landscape to be built layer by layer using techniques such as hand painting, gel plate printing, stenciling, assemblage, and collage. By integrating traditional artisan materials such as embroidery floss and beads as structural assemblage directly into my compositions, I challenge the traditional boundaries of fine art. Each distinct series captures a visually arresting narrative, inviting the observer to look closely at the complex interplay of raw texture, structural depth, and detailed manual precision.
